Bourbon Snaps

Recipe for Bourbon Snaps

1/4 pound of butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup bourbon
1 cup sifted flour
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Cream butter and sugar with mixer until fluffy. Add bourbon alternately with flour. Sprinkle in nutmeg and mix thoroughly. Chill 1 hour or more. Drop small amounts from teaspoon 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350F for 5 minutes or until slightly browned. DO NOT OVERBAKE.
Cool slightly before removing from pan.

Makes 2 1/2 - 3 dozen.
