If you haven't cooked on an open fire with one of these heavy and sturdy cooking pots, you must try it! You can cook almost anything in them. I've made biscuits (baked right in the pot!), stews, beans, roast, chicken and dumplings, and even hot dogs in mine!
The one I have is this size:

To bake in the skillet, you just heat it up near the fire, add your uncooked product to the skillet, put the lid on, then cover the top with coals from the fire.
