Poor Spike

He was out roaming around and I needed to do something in the kitchen. So I put him on the kitchen floor and shut the gate between the kitchen and living room. The bathroom door was open off the kitchen. I was busy mixing up the herb de provence recipe CF posted and when I finished Spike was hiding in the bathroom. I cannot imagine why he would get nervous when I lock him in the kitchen with me and start mixing up herbs .

Maybe lol. I have mentioned to him more than once he will fit in to my rotisserie.

Knowing Janie - she hasn't been around much - must be out there finding more lost kittens, puppies, and rabbits to bring in and care for - don't forget - winter is coming.

Spike is still among the living lol. He is ticked off at me today because he got brushed and a nail trim this morning. I have not been out looking for any critters. It has been a busy few cooking days. So much so that I am taking this Sunday supper off. I have a 10 pound pork shoulder in the oven and that is as much cooking as I have done today.

My wife is cooking today. So I am taking the day off. I am wanting to bake some new bread . Got the recipe yesterday.
Oatmeal Cinnamon raisin bread. Sure looked good. CF

I love cinnamon raisin bread. I also took the day off from cooking. Just wrestled my 6 pound pooch into the tub. Gave him a haircut/nail trim and flea treatment before the bath.

I have never baked any but might tomorrow. The photo I saw of it sure looked fine. They said it also made great toast. CF
