..I often mix extra to freeze for later use as a stuffing for chicken breasts and bacon-wrapped crab-stuffed prawns.
Whenever making meatballs or meatloaf I often freeze a couple hand-fulls of the meat mixture to make the other a week or so later- even though the recipe for each is normally...
Was a time when I worked in kitchens 18 hours a day and a crock pot wasn't needed or even thought of.
But now that I work a job "in the real world" a crock pot is something I always keep within reach. Perfect for anyone who works outside the home when you cannot or don't wish to keep you oven...
I've dipt bread & moose meat into seal oil... have stuck sea grass and twigs in my mouth to remove herring eggs, and have eaten "Eskimo Ice Cream" made w/ crisco, snow, berries and sugar.
But I cannot/will not eat a runny egg yolk- go figure! :)
...that your table or meals just wouldn't be the same, without?

1.) a round cheese dome w/ a glass dome top and a wooden base on which I regularly make various cheese-balls that are my most frequent go-to appie (whiskeyed smoked salmon w/ dill is my preferred) that I serve both...

Went to Sam's Club last night and found among other things a beautiful gallon jar of the BIGGEST Queen-Stuffed Green Olives that I have EVER seen! Only $12. A tiny jar of olives 1/2 the size at Krogers (labeled as "jumbo") was also $12!
Also stocked-up on other ingredients I know I'll use...
