Are you picky about certain foods in certain cookware?

Will you only cook some things in the one special type of pan?

For me, it's cornbread. Cornbread just isn't right unless it's made in an iron skillet.

Also I only like glass pie pans for pies, not the metal ones. I have some metal ones and I really ought to eBay them or something because I never use them.

I'm the same way about cornbread, it must be cooked in a iron skillet. I have one of my grandmother skillets and that baby is well seasoned and it never cooked anything but cornbread, it also about 20 years old.

I have one favorite non-stick skillet that I use alot not for specific reasons but just because it's become my favorite.

I have a special pot that my husband made (he is friends with a guy who does a lot of pottery making) and we always use it for baked beans.

Also I make Chex Mix in a roasting pan. That just makes sense though.

All my life I remember the popcorn pans. These are easily pointed out by the black around the outside......

The only thing i will cook my homemade chili in is an old cast iron pot

I'm not picky about this, but that's just because all my pots and pans are second-hand. A friend bought new ones just before we got our own place & she gave us her old ones.

I do use one particular pan every night... but that's just because it's the biggest frying pan I've got, and it's deep enough that if I need to simmer something, I can do it in the same pan.

I am very picky about my pans. I invested in a great set of pans and they were not cheap. I dont own a metal spatula and I am very picky about what type of utensil is used in my pans. I have a pan just for meat and so on.
