This is an oldie for me - one of the first things I learned to cook!
1 package blueberry muffin mix
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup pecans
1/4 tsp almond extract
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 can pie filling (I like cherry but any will do)
Open the can of blueberries, rinse and drain. Pour the pie filling into an 8x8 square pan, and sprinkle the blueberries over. Sprinkle the cinnamon and almond extract over that.
Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Add the muffin mix and stir till blended and crumbly. Add pecans. Sprinkle over the top of the pie filling/blueberries.
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes till browned on top.
