For a confirmed chocolaholic like me, this really hits the spot!
Ingredients:
CAKE
1 C flour
1 C sugar
1 stick butter, melted
4 eggs
15 ounces chocolate syrup
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
SAUCE
1 C sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/3 C milk
1/2 C chocolate chips
1/2 C chopped walnuts or pecans
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Grease and flour 9" baking pan.
Mix all cake ingredients and pour batter into prepared baking pan. Bake for
about 30 to 35 minutes until knife stuck in center of cake comes out clean.
To make sauce, put sugar, butter and milk in a small pan and bring to a slow boil. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and nuts. Pour this mixture over warm cake. Out of this world!
