I had some candy for Fat Tuesday - and a big sloppy burger loaded with mayo, kethcup, onions, tomatoes and pickles - before devouring a slice of cheesecake with strawberries - that was my big indulgence!

Being Protestant I will probably be indulging on Ash Wednesday just as much as Fat Tuesday. Here in Louisiana everyone celebrates Mardi Gras but only the Catholics observe Lent. Always thought it funny about Baptist and Methodist making such ado about Mardi Gras being the last day before Lent when they don't observe Lent anyway. I've only been to the New Orleans Mardi Gras twice. Both times when I was in College in Baton Rouge and both times I was dragged down there. That much of a drunken crown is not my thing at all.

Had lemon chicken, boiled new potatoes and asparagus. This was yesterday. Today will be fish, mac & cheese and green beans. CF
