Favorite Cooking Magazines?

I got an envelope in the mail today from my niece. Her school is selling magazine subscriptions. There are some cooking mags in there. Do any of you have a fav so Ill have some idea of what to get? The only cooking mag I have ever bought is a couple issues of Paula Deen's.

jglass - Years ago when family circle and woman's day were 15 cents per issue - they were the absolute best!

I still enjoy them - but I'm at the age where there are som many repeats of recipes and with all the dang ads - it's not worth it.

I no longer subscribe to any - issues would be missing and I never got them.

If I want a magazine - I check them out in the store and swee if there is anything there that interests me - then I buy it.

Certain times of the year they aren't worth it - for the holidays - if I haven't already got 150 copies of each recipe - then I buy.

Thanks for the response Mama.
I was looking at the list and Family Circle is on there so I may get that one.
I had told Jon a few weeks ago that all of the magazines are mostly page after page of adds.

She got me when she addressed the thing to her aunt Naney
They have some kids mags. I might just get her a subscription to something instead.
They are having fall festival at her school in a few weeks. Got any ideas on what I could make for her to sell? They already want some fudge but Id like to send along something else.

Well - there are always cookies and brownies with some candy corn decorations on them or fall colored sprinkles.

Autumn cutouts - using a leaf cutter and using various colors for the frosting. Apple cutouts.

Caramel or candied apples are definitely fall - not just Halloween.

You can make little "sacks" of various candies using different colored netting and ribbons to tie.

Add some fall colored M & M's to your favorite chocolate chip or sugar cookies, etc.

And don't forget cupcakes with fall colors, sprinkles, etc.
