1 large flank steak

- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp fresh ginger root, minced
- Score the flank steak about 1/2" to 3/4" in two directions and on both sides of the steak.
- Mix the seasoning together.
- Place the steak in a ziploc bag, and pour in the marinade. Place in refrigerator for at least an hour and up to 4 hours. Turn over the steak every hour of marinating.
- Broil for 5 minutes on each side, then check for doneness. Cook longer as needed.
- It's important to slice flank steak diagonally cut through tough fibers in the steak.
