I had Tyler Florences last cookbook and gave it away. I also had Elie Kriegers cookbook and gave it to my husbands friend. I have two of Giada's books and they are ok but they are definitely American Italian recipes. They are her American interpertation of authentic Italian recipes. I have a lot of Paula Deens books which are all good. I have two of her sons cookbooks which are good books. I have a couple of Rachael Rays cookbooks. I highly reccomend her comfort foods cookbook. It is small but packed full of yummy recipes. I have Nigella Express. It is a good cookbook. I have one Jamie Oliver's cookbook called Jamie's Italy.
Like Nan said go to Amazon and type in a type of cuisine that interest you and see what pops up. I have gotten some great deals on like new used books from there for as little as .25 each.

We have several of Rachael's cookbooks and have used them with success. We also have Alton's "I'm Just Here for the Food" and "Good Eats-The Early Years".
We just made a simple recipe out of the first Alton book last night. It was the grilled romaine lettuce recipe. It is a simpler one than on the Food Network site, but it worked pretty well. I think we will make it again.
