I've always wanted to visit Hershey, PA and stay in lovely, quaint l'il BandB's while touring and tasting all things CHOCOLATE.

And although it's not really considered a food destination, particularly- I've always wanted to spend Halloween week in Salem, Mass.

What fun and interesting foodie travel destintions are in your area? Or which ones have you traveled to and enjoyed?

I have always wanted to go to Samen during Halloween!
That is my fav holiday. It is not Halloween unless I drag out my old copy of Its The Great Pumpkin and take my nieces trick or treating.

Well one place I ALWAYS wanted to travel to & visit was Bar Harbor, Maine and I did make the trip there once about 10 yrs. ago, it was totally wonderful! I tasted a crab cake to die for, a lobster that was so-so and a clam chowder that was fabulous, I only needed to stay 1 more week and I would have really been happy>>>so if you ever go do plan to stay 2 whole lovely georgeous weeks;)

I have lived in places where seafood was plentiful abundant and I always appreciated and enjoyed it 100%! The Gulf Coast area of Alabama. We also lived close enough to Louisiana to get lots of fresh crawfish tails too m-m good!!

But one of my favorite cities to travel to for food is New Orleans Louisiana, the blend of cultures that the early settlers brought to the area make some flavorful and unique dishes, Cajun cooking is just simply wonderful!!!! If you stay around the French Quarter and Jackson Square you won't be disappointed!
