I went with my sis yesterday to her birthday dinner at Outback. Afterwards we went to Walmart while she picked up some things. She had her 2 1/2 year old daughter Catie in her buggy and I had Evelyn the 6 year old in mine. I was picking at the baby whenever my sis was looking at something and I picked up some decorator pillows. Everyting my sis stopped I would sneak up on the baby and bop her on the head. She would just laugh and laugh. Well this morning I called my sis to thank her again for dinner. She was telling me the baby got into bed with her this morning and gently rubbed her on the cheek saying hi Mama. Well my sis lays their with her eyes closed and say's good morning Catie and then she gets popped right on the head with one of the decorator pillows she bought last night lol. She said Catie rolled all over the bed laughing after she did it.
Those two kids are to funny. They wanted me to sit in the middle of them last night at dinner and they were calling me Mamaw Naney picking on me. I would say Im not your Mamaw Im you aunt Naney you little monkeys. It was so funny to hear the baby picking on me in her little Minnie Mouse on helium voice. They would go back and forth between calling me Mamaw and Mommy. They stuck with Mamaw because they knew it aggervated me most lol. We went to Golden Corral for lunch and after the baby ate I got to make her a hot fudge sundae. I used chocolate ice cream, hot fudge sauce, sprinkles, whip cream and I put her a piece of chocolate fudge right in the middle. She was one happy little girl.
I havent gotten to see the baby that much and I honestly was sure if she would remember me. I had not seen them since Halloween. It was cute when I got into their van the baby said I see you Naney. I always tell them on the phone that I love them and they say it back but I wasnt quiet sure she knew who it was. She does remember me and that was the best. The baby colored her pic at Outback and gave it to me when she was done. I brought it home and hung it on the wall over my computer desk along with a pic Evelyn had brought me she had drawn earlier.
I had a very good time. I gave my sis a chocolate butterscotch cheese cake I made her for her birthday
