Good Lord- whatta way to go! (DANG!) :(

If that happened to me I would be set for life financially and my attorney, not including two Workers Comp claim settlements too. Any business that would directly or indirectly cause that, not once but twice, well you know.....

Don't let a blind person hear you call them "invalid" or you will never hear the end of it.

I have seen some blind people who don't let their blindness slow them down. I have also seen some who just gave up when they lost their sight. I have been married to Jon 10 years and he still does stuff I couldnt imagine doing if I couldnt see.

CanMan you are absolutely correct in that, and to clarify not only did it render my neighbor blind but it hurt him in other ways as well, he was totally bedridden! They were old "country-folks" and never filed suit against anyone, they lived in near poverty and he more than likely got disability at best. His wife had never worked and it must have been just horrible, I know that she became very bitter/angry who can blame her? In lower Alabama times were hard and the peolpe as though still in a time warp: left-overs from the early 1900's, the literacy rate was not at all what it should have been. Things are slowly changing there and believe it or not there is more than 1 red-light in town now:) When we moved there from Miami, FL I was in cultural shock to say the least!
