Happy Father's Day!

To all our family-members here who are Dad's- Happy Father's Day! :)

Are ya'll eating/cooking anything special?

I won't be cooking this holiday.

Dad was sick Memorial Day weekend and didn't get to travel around and do the cemetery thing, he's asked to do this on Father's Day, so we're all climbing into sister's Suburban and tooling around the coutryside pulling weeds and planting flowers at several country graveyards.

I imagine we'll eat at some rural hole-in-the-wall... whatever porch we land on, when hungry!

Funny story: I cooked w/ this college-aged guy once who was really obnoxious- but he had a wicked sense of humor... One year as a joke he bought several Father's Day cards and in his best toddler hand-writing w/ a crayon he scrawled inside each card: "Mama says now that I'm 4 it's time I know who my Daddy is... My name is Timmy..." and he mailed them to all of his drinkin' buds!

Kevin that story reminds me of a joke one of Jon's buddies played on him many years ago. Jon used to party a lot he and one of his buddies were working at Kmart. His buddy had this girl he knew come in with her small baby and tell Jon he was the father. Jon honestly wasnt sure lol.
