Nice to have you with us Nee! You'll fit in perfect here! And a SAHM, there really is no better job and I congratulate you on being able to do so. I was reading your other post about the outrageous elect. bills and everything else Good Lord, how can you even make ends meet with a bill like that and then all the other crap breaking too WOW!
My son and his wife had a stove top that was glass and it shattered not long after they bought their house, I felt sorry for them. I would never get a glass stove top EVER! I used to clean house (one of my many jobs along the way!)and I hated cleaning the things, they're a real pain in the azz all the way around, I must say!
Anyhow welcome, and looking forward to getting to know you even better!

I guess we can`t win them all .. We did get a super great deal on this house .
I am surprised that you found the glass stove top hard to clean because I find its the other way around ... It may be because they didn`t clean it often enough and let it build up till you went to clean for them . I clean after every use and it looks like I never cook ! I have a Sister N law who enjoys cooking as much as I do but if you go in her kitchen her sink is always full to the top , big pots and pans all over her counter , huge dirty empty pots/pans on every burner , not an ounce of space to put something down ... In her eyes that means she is the only one who cooks or can cook thats why her kitchen looks that way ! and no one else ever cooks or can cook anything good other than herself LOL She will never give you a family recipe and when we give her one it is then labeled as her recipe . I once showed her how to made sweet fried ravioli which my brother said she had tried to make many times but she could never get them right . She was so thrilled that I showed her . well sure enough when I went to visit them 3 weeks later her daughter walks in and was telling her how her boyfriend loves her raviolies so I asked are those the sweet fried raviolies that I make ??? and she answers nooooo you don`t make raviolies my mothers fried ravioli recipe that she has been making for us for a few weeks now ! I got ****ed at the moment just beccause my sister in law never corrected her and said that the recipe came from me . I like giving credit where credit is due.
