Hi CanMan love the new AVATAR!!!

I love your sence of humor canman!!! YouR AVATAR cracks me up! Do you remember a similar cartoon that was passed around in the 70's that was of a dolphin in the ocean looking up out of the ocean and in the background in the distant horizon was a mushroom from an exploding nuke, and the following written beneath: "blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth" little did i know way back then that that was an actual scripture!!! I learned alot since then :)

i love the new history channel shows titled "life after humans". It makes very interesting and thought provoking viewing!!! Have you ever seen it? I'd like to observe all that taking place! ;)

Yes, it is amazing that a possible future event could be humorous. It makes our minds work in a slightly different direction for a moment.

I actually believe the word "meek" might not be translated or defined as we think it is in English, but there's a logical truth about the destiny of the dolphin/porpoise (which includes whales). When mankind advances, so does apparently all life on the planet, so another specie will apparently inherit the Earth. Heady stuff. Someday soon we may have the answer.

Unfortunately I don't have paid TV so I don't get the history channel, but the story is not unusual I would think and could actually be a story of our "past" since there is mounting evidence with scientists that mankind has had more than one evolutionary advancement and even the origins of the Bible not being 2,000 years ago but more like 15,000 or more years ago. Interesting research for sure.

I know realistically it is anything but amusing when you consider nukes exploding, and as we know from Hiroshima & Nagasauki it was literally hell on earth! And now we have this N. Koean stuff hanging over our heads. I sure don't want to imply that it is in any way, shape or form a funny subject. It just struck a funny chord when I saw your Avatar, because you are in your own simple, yet subtle way a quiet voice of reminder of the days and the very uncertain times in which we are living!

CanMan I feel that every generation has had their own uncertainties, wether it was the Pioneers making their way West, or the Pilgrims, and or every single generation there has ever been. Our days are no more or no less treacherous except that mankind as we know it could be obliterated from the face of the earth if a true nuculear holocaust were thrust upon it, or heck maybe a huge asteroid hitting! Still you would think from all the education we have to teach us not to do that to one another there are stll those who refuse to care what they do to others> ie: Hitler, this guy in N. Korea the list could go on and on.....:(

Still I have to choose each day to stay on a level of personal happiness as much as possible, and try not to focus on all the very horrible things looming over us:eek: Yet I do love the simple reminders that all is certainly not perfect and far from well upon this our planet we call home and earth! Nor is this our home forever we are PILGRIMS!

Peace my brother!
