My husband has a friend I told you all about before that is Thai.

Well I answer the phone this evening and it is his Mama. She tells me that since my BD is the 27 of Sept she is gonna cook for me. She tells me I will come pick it up. Well I said my BD is the 17 of Sept Hon and she goes no no your BD is the 27 lol. I paused for a minute and thought what the heck and said ok my BD is the 27th  So I guess I get two BD's this year lol.
To bad she didnt say what time to pick up the food Sunday or I would take to my father in laws for Sunday supper ;) I have no idea what she plans to cook but one thing is for certain it will be hot!
I told Jon wowzers the years once you hit 40 just fly right by. Seems like only last week I turned 40. :D

She hears anything you tell her the way she wants lol. I feel for her hubby.
Like early summer I took her a rosemary bush and warned her to bring it in when fall came. She argued me it would be fine outside. I was like uh .. I got two of these and I plan to bring mine in when Fall comes lol. The label said it would not survive cold.
I will take half of what ever she makes to Jons Dad. He loves her cooking.

She made the meal today. It was stir fried rice and a bunch of stir fry noodles with cabbage, garlic, broccoli, beef and scallions. You should have seen me feeding it to Jon at her table ...I fed him veggies and all! I have so much of it in the fridge I took two of the neighbors here a bowl full.
I took her a herb/garlic roasted chicken I fixed this evening so it was still good and hot. She wants the recipe for it but Im not sure how the directions for the nuwave thing would carry over to a regular oven. I always make them in the nuwave. Her and her son are paranoid about making sure chicken is done anyway. If I told her to bake it at 350 and use a thermometer to check it she would still way over cook it.

She called last night about 9pm for me to come and pick up fried rice. She told me to bring a big pot cause she was afraid it would melt plastic. Im always torn when she tells me that cause I never want to take a pot to large and look greedy lol.
She gave me more of those mean little red thai peppers and some assorted basil for the freezer. I def owe her a good old southern dinner to repay her kindness.
