JALAPEÑO BURGERS
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef OR 1 1/2 pounds ground buffalo
1 medium onion ; finely chopped (1/2 cup)
2 jalapeño chilies ; seeded and finely chopped (2 to 3)
1 clove garlic ; finely chopped
Brush grill rack with vegetable oil. Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat.
Mix all ingredients. Shape mixture into 6 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
Grill patties uncovered about 4 inches from MEDIUM heat 8 to 12 minutes, turning once, until no longer pink in center and juice is clear. 6 servings.
