Last night I was at my sis's and some of her friends joined us. The conversation got around to Thanksgiving foods- and the yummy things our Moms used to make.
It wasn't long before almost everyone there had longingly come up with many things our Moms used to cook- that no matter how we try, we cannot duplicate today.
I'm a (or was) professional chef- but for the life of my there are two things- deviled eggs and cornbread dressing- that I make that cannot come even close to touching my Mom's. And I believe we even use the same recipe- Go figure! I guess it must just be somethin' about a Mama's loving touch...
What items do YOU wish you could make as well as your Mom... or your Gramma... but aren't able to?
