KFC: Taking Too Long To Eat- FINED.

KFC doesn't have to worry about me staying too long ! LOL..I don't eat there period !
That is ridiculous ...fining paying customers that stay too long.
Once Hubby ate at KFC and was charged a "eat in " tax...never encountered that before.

Since when are you timed while eating? I can see them complaining to a customer who sits and yaks after dining and has over-stayed their welcome.

Not everyone consumes a meal in 30 minutes while out.

I am not the type that goes into a restaurant with plans of staying for a certain amount of time. For instance - we went to a buffet - not because we wanted to eat all we can and make pigs of ourselves - the food was good and the price was right and the selection satisfied us all.

One trip for the salad bar - one trip for our meal selection and a dessert. It was more than enough to satisfy us. And we did not sit and take up space - but we ate at a comfortable pace, enjoying the day, the conversation and the food.

I can agree with some places that put up a sign - no more than 15 minutes after your done for sitting. And that is only fair when you have to turn tables and a server is working for tips.

Just don't time me when I'm eating.

That's the trouble these days - fast food places make it too easy to eat and drive - grab something quick and shove it in when you're in a hurry - and I don't believe in that - and I don't feel it is healthy to eat like that - and I'm not talking about the empty calories you get from these places - it's the gulping of the food practically without tasting it that I don't agree with. And too many take those eating habits to the table - not family dining to me.

I usually don't eat at fast food places. I take it home, or hate to say it, eat in my car. I had a McDonald's Chocolate Sunday two weeks ago and wanted extra Hot Fudge, they gave me more ice cream instead it was OK with me, however it was bigger and I can usually drive & spoon. :) not this time, I was eating this in their parking lot. I thought this is really silly & then another lady drove in next to me & was eating a hamburger. I have to admit I felt good eating in my car & someone else was doing the same thing. I would rather do the drive up & go home, it's more relaxing. If I'm on a time crunch I do smaller snacks or sliced fruit. Cookie :)
