Good morning, group - With warm weather approaching I want to share some information that I picked up recently that could be very helpful for all who like to be outside on a nice day. One of the most profound mosquito repellants around is a spray bottle of Listerine, of all things. Spraying it around areas where you're going to be - on wooden framing around doors and windows and on other things where you're going to be working or playing, kills the critters almost instantly and keeps them gone for quite a while. Who'd a thunk it? I just wonder if it would work on the green head flies we get from the salt marshes around the ocean? According to what I read about this, any flavour or type of Listerine works on ridding oneself of these darn bugs. And the best part is that it's much less expensive than the least expensive bug sprays! I checked yesterday at the supermarket and it was $1.89 for a good-sized bottle as opposed to $3.59 for a can of bug spray I found. That's a bargain!! And it smells better, too!
