For any interested... just to keep you in the loop... This morning I sent a follow-up note to the second publisher that I submitted my cookbook to many weeks back. (You may recall my first attempt went ka-plooey!)
At that time the spokesman I was in touch with told me not to worry about having a big heavy box sent- he instructed me to simply quick-mail a flash-drive w/ the manuscript on it- to a second party in a different state. So I did...
Anyway, the note I immediately received back this morning from this second party basically said two things: 1.) very daunting to not have a physical hard-copy to hold in my hand and possibly take to bed w/ me to review... and 2.) Kent <The prior person I'd been speaking with> has seen it and says it "looks good", and I hope to get to it this month.
Anyway, just sharing w/ ya'll because I know my experience might be helpful to mama or anyone else out there who feels they might have a book in them to try and get down on paper someday...
So.. I remain hopeful w/ all my fingers and toes crossed!
