...this week and will be watching "Cleopatra" and I'll be cooking as we gather to celebrate Liz's life and her journey home. (One rather foo-foo friend- Carlos- will no doubt arrive wearing fingers full of costume DIAMONDS!) 
The menu?
I recall during an interview w/ Donahue years ago Ms. Liz said her fav binge foods were fried chicken, chili and sweet tea. So that's what I'll be making- along w/ Violet Velvet Cake ('violet' as in Liz's beautiful EYES, and 'Velvet' in honor of her fist screen hit 'National Velvet'.)
What we most liked about her was that she was so flawed- yet she plugged ahead and persevered. She experienced ups & downs, and high points & low. But through it all she gave, did for others and acknowledged that all in all this world really is a pretty decent place to be.
So long Ms. Taylor and thanks for the memories you lovely, stunning woman!
