My Silly Dog..

My thermometer in my turkey went off when it reached 165 so what does my dog do? He runs and gets in the bathtub lol. Ever since our bathroom caught on fire a few years ago the dog runs and gets in the bathtub whenever he hears anything that sounds like an alarm
Right now he is quivering under my computer chair convinced I have caught something on fire.

Yeah he didnt have a good morning. He gets all shook up when he hears any sort of alarm. Anything that sounds like the fire alarm.

aaaawwww ~ poor baby, sounds quite cute. Poor little guy. I think it's funny that you said "Right now he is quivering under my computer chair convinced I have caught something on fire" we're all getting a kick out of that, especially my brother in law who is a fireman~~ dogs are great and definitely have personalities and they absolutely have great memories. Give him lots of pets and hugs from me (I have 3 dogs)

My Snoopy (picture I have posted) stole a pound of butter today and ate most if it ~ at first I couldn't figure out where the butter went and then when I looked at the butter ring around Snoopy's face he was busted. Imagine a butter ring hahahaha :) Also last night he got up and sat on the stove while I was cleaning the bathrooms and helped himself to some of a newly baked apple pie and for good measure took a bite out of the berry pie ~ We believed he was low in muscle tone in his back legs but ~ apparently not~ So......... I was up until 2:15 am this morning baking a NEW apple pie and berry pie (fortunate I had extra to make them + they turned out great) and had to let the pies cool in the bedroom for fear Snoopy would eat them too.

That is so hysterical about the butter, but the pies I would be soooo angry:D Be careful "Snoopy" doesn't get sick what with all the foods he has consumed that he shouldn't! Poor doggie, don't you buy him treats:confused::D:confused:

Oh yes ~ we do~ They have 4 different types of treats ~ 1 for the morning and a different for afternoon and a different for before bed ~ and different one for being good

I spoil them tremendously~ I have to say I did laugh when I saw the butter ring ~ now I wish I thought to take a picture of it ~ how can you not laugh at that ~ I was mad about the pies but..... what could I do ~ I just said sternly "Snnnnooooppyyy" "No" ~ I can't bring my self to ever hit, spank a dog.

So far so good, no icky messes from Snoopy ~ hopefully nothing will happen~ now I am not leaving anything on the counters that he can get

Your story reminds me of one Jon told me about his guide dog. JD was a black lab. He passed away while Jon and I were dating. Jon said his Mom had left him a chocolate cream pie on top of his microwave while he was at college one day. Jon came in his apartment and stepped into a clean empty pie pan in his floor. Later when his Mom called to see if he liked it he figured out what happened.
I took JD to Moms once to bath him for Jon. WELL JD refused to get into the tub for me. I even tossed in a couple cheetos to lure him in. They were his favs. Didnt work...
Soo I tell JD Im gonna call Jon and tell on him. My Mom is standing in the hallway laughing her head off at this point. I got the phone and called JOn...I put the phone down to JD's ear and two words from Jon he shot into that tub like he was on fire lol.
I did uh..take him to McDonalds drive thru for chicken nuggets before I took him back to Jon lol. So I guess I got back on his good side lol.

That JD sounded like such a terrific and remarkable dog! I admire Guide Dogs tremendously, what a gift to mankind!

Dicy how's Snoopy today? I am sure he will most likely be fine, but you never know... just keep an eye out. Worst case scenario he may get the runs for a day or so. Good idea not to leave anything where he can possibly eat it. My fear would be that he could eat something toxic to dogs.
