The ingredients are tossed into a liberally-buttered pyrex dish & over-nighted in the fridge then baked next morning. Recipe calls for stale sourdough bread- along w/ loads of ham and cheddar. This time she substituted torn-up stale apple danish, and sprinkled a bit of brown sugar onto the buttered dish before adding the remainder of the ingr. into the dish, and let me tell you- the difference it made was very notcieable and absolutely delicious! The sweet cinnamony-apple w/ the cheddar and smokey ham was incredible!
