It's been a long while since we heard from Nan. I know she's like I used to be- away at remote Alaskan locales far from abundant spare time and web access for long periods cooking for crowds... We miss you, Nan! Hope u check back in soon!

If you monitor the "people who have been on-line today" section, at the bottom of the page, you'll see that she checks in fairly frequently. So she's keeping tabs on us, even if she can't post.

Her current job has her aboard a ship that's mapping the California coast. As I understand it, this phase will run through October. Then, presuming the funding is there, it will pick up again next spring.
