New Year's plans

I don't trust our weather - so this year it's a stay at home party. I'll make a big meal for the day and finger foods for the night.

What are you guys doing?

There is going to be a spread of Cheddar Cheese Straws, BBQ Sausage in the Crock Pot, Black-Eyed Peas and Collard Greens and some Georgia Sour-Dough rolls not Corn Bread! Lots of champagne and firecrackers for mid-night:D I am off from work tonight a bit early and winding down while Eddie is fixing dinner, I am sipping a Strawberry Daquiri and my feet are so tired, we moved our office today and I soooo tired:(

We are going to a New Years Eve Party at a Local place where my nephew and his band are playing.Going to Dance the New Year In !

Staying home and will celebrate with some bubbly Club Soda with a shot of lime (no slices available) and some finger food.

...and then listen for ignorant people shooting their guns in to the air. It has gotten so bad that the local police now have technology to pinpoint where the shots come from and they are able to arrest people.

Gotta love LA and Long Beach, and the rather finer moments available COMPLIMENTS OF THE LOVELY "GANG BANGERS" WOULD REALLY BE NICE IF MOST OF THE SHOTS HEARD WERE SIMPLY FIRED INTO THE AIR:DBut anyway...CanMan I hope you have a wonderful New Years Eve, and lay low from those stray bullets:eek:

Hey CanMan - do you live near me???? The idiots here have een doing it for the 40 years I've lived here. Except our cops don't do a thing about it.

The Idiots are great breeders since there's no shortage of them and can be found everywhere. The local police couldn't do anything either and Los Angeles County is dense enough that bullets coming down do tend to hit something/someone. That's why they got excited when the technology came along to allow them to track the gunshot the instant it happens and go directly to the map location. $1.5M for each 5-6 mile area is not cheap but I guess its paying off, especially in high crime areas.

It's nice to know we are safer (ha).

Married on New Years, now that is a good way to not forget your anniversary....but to stay home on an anniversary????:D

In this little town everything is closed on New Years Day.
Not a whole lot to do here. We may go out to eat.
Jon tries to be affectionate on New Years which is out of character because he is not affectionate the rest of the time.

We went out for chinese this evening for our anniversary. Tomorrow we will probably sleep in and maybe watch a movie.

Yeah this is a backwards little town. Only thing that will be open are the gas stations.
