First Illinois had Abe Lincoln, then U.S. Grant, then Adlai Stevenson, Everett Dirkson, Ronald Reagan and Borack Obama...but our FAV daughter has always been OPRAH!
Today was the premiere of her 25th and FINAL Season- and it was a purty good show! She's taking all 300 of today's audience members w/ her over Christmas Break to Australia! (Today's audience was made up of her "Ultimate Fans"- those who have written-in and e-mailed the most from home over the last quarter century... how cool is that?
I grew-up w/ this woman and her show that's an Illinois/American institution!... so Congratulations and Thank You to OPRAH!
