This works for beef too:
use mustard for a precook/pregrill glaze. I hate mustard, but this turned out wonderful... nice flavor.
I had used boneless ribs, smeared them with mustard before grilling.
Put them on the grill for about 10-15 mins, letting each side cook. Then smeared on the BBQ sauce. Perfectly tender and juicy with a wonderful flavor.
Also another tip:
When cooking chops, I toss in a few strips of bacon, for added flavor. My boys love it.
