...though it may not be new to you since I see there are two seasons available for watching at hulu.com. Have you seen "Avec Eric"? It's shef Eric Rippert's food/travel show and I'm enjoying the heck out of it!
So far he's taken us hunting for wild boar in Tuscany, touring an oyster bed in Morales, Cali, potting for soft shells along coastal Virginia, and touring vineyards all over Cali , Italy and France...
The show follows a fun format... For 5 minutes he interviews a particular cook at a work station in the kitchen of his NYC restaurant and reveals the ins and out of that particular cook's work duties. Then he does the travel part of the show for about 15 minutes. Then the final 10 minutes of the show he's back in his home kitchen cooking a dish for us.
It's a fun, informative show- and of course how can one go wrong watching a chef with the movie-star looks and an accent like Ripperts?
