Recipezaar website ?

I have gotten a lot of great recipes from that site but for about the past two weeks every time I try and get on there it locks up my computer. It always worked fine before. I was reading on there that some other people had complained about the same problem and someone had advised them to disable their security and clean out all of their cookies. I think then she told them to restart the computer and come back to the site with security still disabled  I not getting on any site with my security disabled I dont care how many recipes there are.
It has to be something with my antivirus causing the problem I would bet. I bet it is blocking something the site wants to run and it wont allow the pages to work right. If that is the case then it must be something they started doing recently or something in a recent update to my antivirus program.

when you get bac to that site - save it to your favorites - make sure you are on a recipe that is written out - you will get on easier by always going to that recipe

No it didnt work.
I keep their site marked under my favorites. Then I check out the recent reviews. Everytime I try and open a recipe to get a closer look or to save it my screen freezes up.
Im sure it is probably something I have turned off or I am blocking a cookie or something it is trying to load. It worked fine til about 2 weeks ago.

I was reading tons of people are having the same problem with that site.
I didnt know they sold out a few months ago.

I have found a lot of really BAD recipes on those 2 sites. I usually go to Epicurious.com. It's much more reliable.

I have Allrecipes marked under my favorties. Tons of people were complaning about zar. I didnt know they had sold out several months ago. Many people said they are trying to make it hard for people who are not members to get to recipes but tons of people who were members stated they were having the same problem.

I find with allrecipes and recipezar and a few others like them, it's hard to weed though the junk to find the gems.

When you come to a site like this, you get to know the posters, and you get a feel for what they like and how they cook. You come to know just who has a 'style' of cooking that you like. When you select one of their recipes to try, you can be reasonably confident that it will turn out the way you want.

But when you go to those over-sized anonymous recipe sites, you don't have that advantage. It's kind of hit or miss in finding the perfect TNT recipe.

That's why I stick to either forums where I can get to know folks' tastes or commercial sites like Food Network or Epicurious (or a couple others).

I have a lot more confidence in the folks I "know" than the folks I don't.
