So funny....

Jon and I went out for chinese food today at a much better restaurant in the next town over. Then we went to Kroger's and Big Lots. While in line at Kroger's I see this little short woman charging our direction pulling a tall man behind her. I thought I remembered her from somewhere. Well lol...she almost runs me down coming into the lane we were in from the end past the register. I was at the front of the cart and Jon was holding onto the handle. I practically had to jump out of her way lol. I didnt miss the fact she was acting like I wasnt there Then I remembered her. We had run into her once before about 8 years ago. She had carried a big crush for Jon when they went to school school together and after today I think she still is.
She introduced Jon to her husband of seven years ..who just happens to be blind. At this point she still hasnt acknowledged Im even there. After Jon greets her hubby he then introduces his wife to her hubby lol. It was so funny when Jon did that. You should have seen the look she gave me for just a split second. She never did speak to me and I dont think he husband ever realized I was there.
They left when ever we got to the register. I laughed and asked Jon if that was one of his old fans. He laughed and said yeah she had quiet the crush years ago. I said uh..I think she still does

How cute, janie! I'm glad she kept it "subtle & civil", otherwise ya mighta had to have a throw-down with her! Nuthin' like a wrastlin' match right there in the Kroger's in front of God and everybody to see! Woulda been helll to hafta take her down with a frozen rib roast to the back of the head! Ha!

I kinda got the feeling she was a little slow and so was her hubby. Jon had told me before she did ok in school but she did have some issues. Besides..she was less than five feet tall. Im a little over five seven. I could have stepped on her lol.

I took Jon to one of his friends Moms house once. The Mom always flirted with Jon. So we were waiting in the livingroom for Jons buddy and here comes his Mom who is way over 6 feet tall and made like a football player. She is carrying a machete and a tub of cabbage she chopping for kraut. She sets down the cabbage...still carrying the machete and comes over and puts her arm around Jon and goes you know my son tells me I flirt with your husband to much. What do you think she asks me ..all the while gesturing with the knife lol. Poor Jon looked like he wanted to die. She was all patting him on the arm standing real close. I said um...you flirt with him all you want. As a matter of fact I can just leave him here and you can drop him off when your ready for him to go home and turned to leave. He squeaked like a mouse in a trap. He told me later it was good to know he could count on me and I said hey baby I got your back

He gives every bit as good as he gets. His friends always say I was so sweet and quiet when they first met me. They tell Jon the way I am now he must be hard to live with. He says I was always this way and I say I am what you have made me now live with it.
