1.5 tablespons sugar
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
.75 teaspoon cayenne pepper
.50 teaspoon ground cinnamon
.50 teaspoon ground allspice
.25 teaspoon ground cloves
2 tablespoons canola oil or peanut oil
4 cups unsalted raw nuts (walnut or pecan halves,whole almonds, cashews or peanuts)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first six ingredients in a large bowl. Then mix in oil, then the nuts.
Spread on a rimmed cookie/baking sheet. Roast until nuts
turn golden (approxomitely 20 minutes) Cool and serve.
