This is a great recipe to do with the kids on a camping trip!!

ZIP LOCK BAG ICE CREAM

1 pint sized plastic zip bag
2 Tbsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1 cup milk or half and half
1 gallon-sized plastic zip bag
6 tbsp rock salt
Ice

Fill the gallon zip bag half full of ice. Add rock salt and seal.
Pour sugar, milk/half and half, and vanilla into the pint sized plastic bag and
seal. Place the pint sized bag into the gallon bag and seal. Shake the bag
for 5 - 7 minutes.

I tried this not that long ago. It was surprisingly good. Definitely not the same as ice cream, but a nice substitute when you want a cold and sweet treat.
