Twitter

I did for a few weeks and then deleted the account. Guess I'm not the right age mentality for it.

What the heck's a twitter??? Is it related to a fritter? Now I love me some hot apple or banana fritters!!!! Gotta' roll em in some confectioners sugar though:p;):) It doesn't get much better than that! If a twitter tastes as good as a fritter then why don't you post the recipe Spiceisgreat?

Twitter is a place where you can post updates on your day from your cellphones etc. It is a big thing for stars I think right now. My little sister has one she use to do updates for her website or something other lol. I email a few friends and my little sis and check in here and thats about it. Im afraid people would think my days are pretty boring lol.

This site is about as technical as I want to get- for now, anyway!

I'm not a gadget person, and definitely not a techie- and I really don't care to reach folks- or be reached by others myself everywhere, 'round the clock.

My sentiments exactly Kevin, but I do think it is cool for those who know what it is and like to utilize it! Too bad it's not a new twist on an old food though, I was looking forward to a Twitter recipe:( Aw well....guess I will just have to concoct one myself;)

Since a twitter, or is it a tweet, can only be 140 characters in length it would have to be a very short recipe.

twitter, twitter, twitter - I went there - ain't got a thing I'm interested in -
a grammar school toy to me - too bad there are so many that don't out-grow it by the age of 9

and,
I have a lot of very smart, busy, foodie friend who love twitter. For some reason, right now don't see using it. These friends tell me to be ready because it is addictive.

I was looking at a PDA a few years back and something replaced it, Blackberry has features I wouldn't use, there is so much coming at us and I'm lovin' it. Kindle looks like fun and practical, but I still like curling up with a book.

The only thing that pi**es me off is about getting old is, Oh my, what will I miss. Ten years ago never thought I would need a computer. Now laptop goes with me even for a overnighter.

If you search "twitter recipes" there is lots of fun there.

Have a super evening,
Nan

The only thing I find addictive these days is sex and food and my doctor has told me I have to cut back on both.

My biggest regret is building one of the first digital computers back in the 70's and ultimately hacking into the Arpanet with a couple buddies. If I would have known what we were ultimately heading for I would have stuck to photography. :D

Like Nan... I worked in kitchens for years and thought: "What would I EVER need w/ computer skills for?" Then I hired-on w/ a corporate outfit that stationed me in various management positions and I was FORCED to learn computer skills- and often felt like a stupid-azz for some of it taking so long to get inside my thick head!

Now? I cannot IMAGINE life w/out a computer! One day w/ no e-mail makes me feel like I have my right hand tied behind my back!

Other gadgets, though? So far in this life I haven't figured out exactly what they would do for me... I don't even have a cell phone!
