Welp I got the flu!

Yup had it Sunday and tried to get up and go to work yesterday only to come home sick afternoon early and so I SURVIVED!!! YEAH

Symptoms: Nausea, fever, chills, and horrid body aches O-o-o-ooocuh

But today I am fine Again.

Gosh I want a T-shirt that says "I survived the 2009 Flu Outbreak".
 
I thought the seasonal flu was canceled this year for lack of participation in favor of the longer lasting H1N1 Flu sensation. I'm still trying to figure out why the H1N1 was 'patented' by the government 2 years before it became popular.
 
Thanks ya' all, yep I am feeling great again, and it was not fun being sick, but thanks be I now have a natural immunity! (At least to the strain I got)
 
glad you're feeling better - this is homemade chicken soup season - and the weather is no help - it's hot, then it's cold, and up here - they wear shorts and tees when it's 40 degress outside -

there are so many different strains of the flu it's not funny - I've been battling a little bug of some sort and apparently it is just going to bond with me forever - won't hit me hard enough to knock me down (I'm quite tough so it takes a lot to get me down) and it won't leave me alone - so I guess I have "bonding bugitis" strain #234,587,234
 
I know a lot of 'shots' that might help the "bonding bugitis", one of which is a shot of that Tequila (with or without the worm). A local bar would be happy to provide all the shots needed and maybe a few more for happy times.

OMG - I can just imagine what that would be like!
Never had a shot in my life - only beer I ever had was in beer batter - only wine I even had was port in cheese spread!
 
After two glasses of wine I am totally bubbly, and giggling for no apparent reason, definitely puts me in a merry mood! A shot of 100% Rum helps or hot hot spicy food, clears the sinus, and stuffy nose.
 
Hey, get well Cathy. We don't need you sick at all but really stay away from that H1N1 thing. Let us know how you're doing now. -John-

mama, golly-moses... you & I are BOTH cheap dates- I hardly drink either! :) But I usually try and make up for it by ordering TWO DESSERTS! Hee-Hee!

Had a friend once that claimed he took a stiff "Jack Danials" every night if he had a cold. I asked him if it helped with the symtoms and he said; actually no but gee it made being sick kinda fun.
