who's next?

Mama Mangia

Super Moderator
First Ed McMahon

Then Farrah Fawsett

Michael Jackson - same day as Farrah

now Billy Mays!

Walter Kronkite is on his last leg -
and Annette Funnicello is in her final days...........

I thought deaths came in 3's -

??????????????

George Burns, they say he's never going to die. I wouldn't want to pick someone and be right.

Thanks for the info Mama.

I would say Keith Richards, but I would hate to be right.

Im sorry to say I won't miss Billy Mays yelling on commercials.
Between him and that ShamWow guy they annoy me.

I am so tired of seeing Michael Jackson on every single channel. I would like to know what else is going on in the world when I turn on the news.

I HATED Billy May and the sham-wow guy - they say he got hit in the head with luggage on a flight landing - I wonder if his wife hit him to shut him up!

Michael Jackson - we had good music - busted his butt learning all those dance moves (he had good choreographers) but his private life is something of a nightmare.
The MJ jokes have started -

Now that MJ is dead, they are going to make MJ dolls so that little boys can play with him now..........................

He took it away from Farrah Fawcett - now Billy Mays is taking it away from him.

BTW - went to McD's yesterday for some fries and a coke (I had a lot of running to do and was getting hungry) - all MJ music - nothing else.

He will never be as big as Elvis. period.

If he had died in the 80's he would have been a legend. Now with his behavior and controversy he will be remembered as an oddity. I know the man was never proven guilty of child molestation but I wouldnt have wanted him around any child of mine.

Those jokes are to funny. I gotta remember them to tell Jon.
I saw a story on the news one day where the sham wow guy took a hooker to a motel and she beat the stuffing out of him. They were both so drugged up and out of it the police never let either press charges.

I wouldn't want to be near MJ myself!

Guess who was next - Gayle Storm! OMG - now that's 6!

Looks like Mr. sham wow is gonna try for Billy's job - we're doomed!

I looked up Gayle Storm to see who she was.
Ugh..More Mr. Sham. I may have to give up tv lol.

there's a comedian that also died 2 days ago - it was on my "page" when I start-up - now that is a total of 6.

hope it stops for a while............

I like the dance Michael Jackson, I like the Song Earth
That I felt sad when I heard the news
I do not like bad news, I do not like what is happening in the world of wars and destruction
I hope that the world live in peace

thanks

I appreciated MJ's influence- his talent was tremendous and he'll be missed by many.

His personal life?- IF it all was actually true, really over-shadows a lot of the good he did.

BUT, I'm not completely sure it is true... afterall- a jury of 12 acquitted him on all 14 counts..... He would have been the perfect candidate for someone to swindle by extortion- so I'm just not sure.

I don't trust the media any further can I can throw them. Nor do I trust parents who entrust their l'il tykes to a perported molester for sleep-overs, just to see them in court suing for millions months down the road. It all smells fishy to me!

I also do not think that is what they said was true.
I think that they either want money or want fame by Jackson

That is what people do, long life to death, natural progress.

I had hoped once they had the memorial the coverage on him would slack off some but it hasnt nearly as much as I would have liked.

Hey Kev and everybody, I somehow missed this thread:confused: Wow it seems so many people are passing these days. I am sure it is just a big
coiencidence. But the media being what it is just enhances the matter. I remember when Mother Theresa passed away her death was over shadowed entirely by the passing of Princess Di. I never even knew Mother Theresa passed until church the following Sun. when the minister mentioned her passing! I never once heard it on TV! That is sad, but a true fact of todays media. It is all about sensationalism!

Hey Kev ya think when we croak it'll make Headline news?!?:D

Just when you thought it was over - he STILL isn't buried!
and when they spoke with his mom - she said she doesn't know where her will be buried - they want to put him in the ground at neverland - good grief!
Maybe I can be buried in my backyard too...................
