I couldn't tell you wine etiquete but I always just use the one listed on each recipe and it seems to follow the same trend as wines to drink with each dish such as white wines for lighter chicken or fish recipes and red for the red meats.
JP, I think your right. But would not want to cook with it. Although I did make a lemon pie using coolaid. It was really good, now where is that recipe? I may fix one today. I have some pie hulls in the freezer. CF
