2 quarts cooked apple pulp
4 cups sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 - 1 tsp ground cloves
Clean and sterlize pint canning bottles and lids
1. Cook apples and press through a sieve or food mill, measure pulp.
2. Add sugar and spices.
3. Cook until the flavors are well blended, about 15 mins. To prevent sticking stir frequently as mixture thickens. If it gets to thick add a small amount of water.
4. Pour hot into hot jars leaving 1/4 inch head space.
5. Adjust jar lids.
6. Process pints 10 mins in boiling water bath.
7. When cool test for seal. If not sealed reprocess in boiling water.
