• 1 1/2 pounds lean stew beef
• 1 package Lipton dried onion soup mix
• 1 cup white wine
• 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
• mushrooms (optional)

Preheat oven to 300° F. Mix well stew beef, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, wine, cream of mushroom soup, and mushrooms (optional). Place beef mixture in a covered casserole. Bake at 300°F for 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Serve over noodles or rice.
