4 to 6 lbs spare ribs
Sauce:
1 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp garlic powder
2 oz Sherry
1/2 cup lower sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1 cup pineapple cubes
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cornstarch
3/4 cup brown sugar
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Combine sauce ingredients and blend.
3. Place ribs on a large cookie sheet covered with aluminum foil.
4. Pour sauce over ribs, retaining 1/2 cup for basting.
5. Bake ribs for 2 hours, or until tender, basting every 20 minutes.
