1/4 cup canola oil
2 lbs beef chuck or round, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 cups chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 8oz can tomato sauce
2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp Tabasco Sauce (use more for a hotter taste)
1 1/2 cups water
Thickener:
2 tbsp flour
1/4 cup water
3 cups cooked noodles
1. Heat canola oil to a large non-stick skillet.
2. Add onion, and cook 2-3 minutes, then add beef and garlic.
3. Cook and stir until meat is brown about 10 to 15 minutes
4. Stir in tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, paprika, Tabasco Sauce, mustard, and 1 1/2 cups water.
5. Cover ad simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Add additional water if needed.
6. Prepare noodles according to packaged directions.
7. Blend flour and 1/4 cup water. Stir gradually into meat mixture.
8. Return to boil, and stir constantly until thickened, 1 to 2 minutes.
9. Serve over hot noodles.
