Buttermilk Biscuits Ingredients

To make Buttermilk Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. Grease a baking sheet.
  3. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  4. Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl & cut in shortening.
  5. Add buttermilk and dissolved yeast to flour mixture; stir until blended.
  6. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness on a floured board.
  7. Cut rolled dough a floured biscuit cutter; place on greased baking sheet.
  8. Brush tops of biscuits with melted butter.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes
