1 whole chicken cut up
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup ground pecans
1 1/2 tsps paprika
1 1/2 tsps salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup pecan halves
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1. Melt butter in large shallow baking dish.
2. Mix buttermilk with egg in one shallow dish, and flour, ground pecans, paprika, salt, pepper and sesame seeds in another.
3. Dip chicken in buttermilk mixture, then in flour mixture.
4. Place skin side down in melted butter in baking dish, then turn chicken pieces to coat in butter and place skin side up.
5. Place pecan halves on each piece of chicken and bake for 1 1/4 hrs, or until tender and golden brown.
Garnish with parsley and cherry tomatoes.
