Mix the sugar, cocoa, flour, milk, canola oil, and eggs together. Blend well.
Blend in the vanilla, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Stir in coffee.
Pour this thin batter into a greased and floured baking pan and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.
