5 eggs
2 sticks butter
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup crisco
3 cups sugar
3 cups unleached Pillsbury or King Arthur All Purpose flour
1/2 cup Hershey's Cocoa
1/2 tsp baking powder
Dash of salt
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Combine eggs, butter, milk, crisco, and sugar. Mix well.
3. Sift flour, and combine with the Hershey's Cocoa, baking powder and salt.
4. Stir the flour mixture into the eggs mixture a little at a time. Mix until smooth.
5. Stir in vanilla and chocolate chips.
6. Pour batter into a greased bundt pan for 90 minutes.
7. Remove from pan, allow to cool on a wire rack, then dust lightly with confectioners sugar.
