3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
2 tbsps unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsps sugar
42 chocolate malted milk balls
Heat oven to 400 degrees
1. In large mixing bowl combine 3/4 cup sugar and butter; beat until light and fluffy.
2. Add vanilla extract and egg; blend well.
3. Add flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; mix well.
4. Shape dough into 1 inch balls.
5. Roll balls in 2 tbsps sugar.
6. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
7. Bake at 400 degrees for 7 - 10 mins or until edges are set.
8. Immediately press 1 malted milk ball into center of each cookie.
9. Cool 2 mins; remove from cooke sheets.
Servings: 3 1/2 dozen cookies
