2 squares unsweetened chocolate
3 tbsps butter or margarine
1 cup Karo syrup
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
1 unbaked pie shell
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
1. Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler.
2. Combine Karo syrup and sugar simmer for 2 mins; cool.
3. Add to chocolate mixture.
4. Mix salt, eggs, vanilla and pecans.
5. Dribble into chocolate mixture and blend.
6. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
7. Bake for 35 mins.
