- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Tones Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups coconut flakes
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cream together the butter and sugar
- Mix egg in milk, then add to the creamed sugar.
- Add vanilla; Beat well.
- Add flour, baking powder, and salt; Mix well.
- Roll batter into small balls, then dip in the coconut. Top with cherry if desired.
- Place on a greased cookie sheet, and bake until lightly browned, about 8 minutes .
